I am the YFC One Support Worker. YFC One is our Gap Year program for 17 to 25 year olds, training them in youth work and evangelism. Some are based at our YFC Centres around the UK and some are on our touring teams who travel round the country using sport, music and dance to share Jesus with young people. I grew up in Northern Ireland and, being a minister’s kid, knew Jesus from a young age. At the age of 8 I decided to accept Jesus into my life for myself. I am a Netflix girl, I love watching TV series and going for long walks by the seaside or in the country. I am passionate about equipping and empowering young Christians to be game changers in their generation and reaching other young people with the good news.  I love seeing young adults who have taken a year out of their lives to fully commit to God, grow in confidence, develop their gifts and grow in their relationship with Jesus.  My favourite part of my job is seeing our volunteers get excited about telling young people about Jesus and getting to mentor and input into these young people’s lives as they seek God’s heart for their future. As a YFC staff worker I am required to raise a minimum of 50% of my salary costs through donations from church, friends and family. The reason we do this is that personal support creates a partnership in ministry between the supporter and the staff member. The more support staff raise, the more funds are released to be used to support the work of Youth for Christ. YFC is about people and by partnering with me you will enable more young people to be reached across the nation. Together we can achieve more. Please stand with me to reach a generation of young people with the good news of Jesus in Britain. Get my newsletter and become a prayer partner.
